About The Nintendo DSi Console

The DSi was released in Japan on November 1, 2008, in matte black and matte white; these same colors were available for its April 2, 2009 launch in Australia and New Zealand. It was later released in Europe on April 3 2009. Like the DS Lite it has two TFT screens, which at 82.5 millimetres are larger than the DS Lite's 76.2 millimetre screens. The screens are capable of displaying 260,000 colors.

Features - The DSi has two 0.3-megapixel digital cameras. The first is placed on the internal hinge and points toward the user. The second is on the outer shell, and faces away from the user.

Another new feature is an SD card slot, set behind the cover on the handheld's right side that allows music and pitures to bae saved to an SD card.

Screens - Nintendo DSi has twin 82.5mm ultra bright LCD screens that combine crisp, punchy colors, along with touch-screen technology on the lower screen to deliver some of the most groundbreaking gameplay ever developed.

WiFi - The Nintendo DSi console can connect to the Internet through its built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi to give users access to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service.
